Throwback Thursday - NBA All Start Game in Charlotte 1991 - April 2nd, 2020

The NBA All Star Game was first hosted in Charlotte, NC in February 1991. If you were a student in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools at the time, you probably remember going to the All Star pep game rally at the old Charlotte Coliseum. We got free tees, basketball cards, and got to see all of our NBA idols. Including the one and only Michael Jordan. I was in 4th grade at the time and do not remember the game as much as I remember the jerseys, the Infrared 6s, and that Saturday pep rally!

Throwback Thursday - Eastland Mall - March 26th, 2020

The infamous Eastland Mall - a staple on the eastside of Charlotte, NC. The only mall where you could get some alligator shoes, an airbrush t-shirts, the hottest mixtape, a Ralph Lauren Polo, and go ice skating all in one shopping trip.
